A recorded time is wrong

Nothing in Legwork is overwritten, so a wrong time is corrected by adding the right one rather than by editing the old one. Open the exchange, enter the time you saw, and it takes precedence — a considered correction outranks a tap at a chute, and a captain's or van lead's outranks both. If you were the one who tapped by mistake, retract your own entry and the next-earliest one stands. Everybody's phone reaches the same answer once it has the same entries.

Two phones disagree

They are both right until they have met. Vans are out of range of each other for most of a relay, and each phone is showing what it has been told. They reconcile over Bluetooth when they are close and through our server when there is signal — you do not have to do anything, and you cannot lose a record by syncing in the wrong order.

The van's data looks stale

Keep the app open on at least one phone in the van. Bluetooth sync needs the phones to be near each other, which they are, and it does not need service. If you have just driven back into coverage and do not want to wait, pull down to refresh — that goes to the server straight away.

A projected time looks wrong

Every projection comes from one reference effort: a distance you ran and the time it took. Check yours on the roster. The number you enter is treated as a fresh, rested effort at that distance, and the projection adjusts it for each leg's distance, its climb and descent, and the forecast temperature at the hour you will actually be running.

Legwork does not model accumulated fatigue over a relay, and it does not try to. Late legs on little sleep run slower than any model of a single effort predicts, and that is a real limit rather than a setting to correct.

An invitation link does not work

Each runner gets their own link, and it only opens the slot it was made for — forwarding yours to somebody else will not admit them. Ask your captain to send you the one with your name on it. A six-digit team code is a different thing: it is for finding a team, and grants nothing on its own.

The sign-in code did not arrive

Check spam. Codes come from auth.legwork.team and expire, so request a fresh one rather than using an older message. If two have arrived, only the newest works.
