Deleting your data

Legwork stores your name, optional email address, reference pace, and the handoff times recorded for your race team. There are two ways to have that removed.
1. Delete it yourself, in the app
- Leave a team — removes that team and its data from your device. Other members of the team are unaffected.
- Delete the team from the server — a team's captain can delete the whole race team, which removes the roster, assignments, and recorded handoff times from our server for everyone on that team. This cannot be undone.
2. Ask us to delete it
If you are not the captain, or no longer have the app installed, email support@legwork.team from the address on your roster, or tell us your name and team name. We will delete your data from our server within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
Your name, email address, reference pace, role, van and leg assignments, and any handoff times attributed to you. Deletion is permanent — we keep no backup copy of a deleted race team.
Race course definitions and weather forecasts are public reference data, contain nothing personal, and are not affected.
Data held on a teammate's own phone is outside our reach; copies already synced to another member's device are removed when that person leaves or deletes the team.
